Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Does Tumbling Tots LLC have a new program?

A. Tumbling Tots has taken the time to build and improve more content and  with these changes, we have named the revamped program, “LeapStar  Kids”. We have a website in which you may access this program.

Q. How much is the monthly charge for LeapStar Kids at one of their locations?

A. The charge is $45 a month and your child is guaranteed 4 classes a  month.

Q. How do I pay?

A. You are sent an invoice through a system we use called 17Hats. The  billing is done through PayPal.

Q. How do I pay with a check?

A. If you are paying with a check, please make the check out to Tumbling  Tots. For more information on where to send the check, please contact  Gina Walters. You may also contact your bank and have them mail a  check to us every month.

Q. Can I pay several months at a time?

A. Paying months in advance is not required, but if it is more convenient for  you, we will accept it! We will contact you once the credit has run out.

Q. What happens if my child misses a class, due to vacation or sickness?

A. Because we work on a four-week calendar, each child is promised the  total amount of classes each month. We will keep record of the times your  child goes and take them at another time for a make-up class if they missed a scheduled class. If, for any reason, we cannot make-up the  class, we will contact you and pro-rate your fee for the following month.

Q. What happens if the facility is closed on my child’s scheduled class day?

A. Because we work on a four-week calendar, each child is promised the  total amount of classes each month. We will keep record of the times your  child goes and take them at another time for a make-up class. If, for any  reason, we cannot make-up the class, we will contact you and pro-rate  your fee for the following month.

Q. Once we sign up, are we committed for a full year?

A. No. With LeapStar Kids, the commitment is monthly. Your child may join  or stop LeapStar Kids at any point during the year. IF you do plan to stop  LeapStar Kids, we ask that you contact us before the beginning of the  month so that we can take them off of our schedule.

Q. When a month has 5-weeks, will my child not take classes that week?

A. LeapStar Kids continues classes throughout each week. This helps us to  stay ahead and cuts down on the make-up classes.

Q. Will my child miss important classroom activities due to LeapStar Kids classes?

A. No. We communicate with the teachers to coordinate our class schedule  with theirs so that your child does not miss any important classroom  activities.

Q. What if I am running late to drop off my child, and they miss their class?

A. Because we work on a four-week calendar, each child is promised the  total amount of classes each month. We will keep record of the times your  child goes and take them at another time for a make-up class. If, for any reason, we cannot make-up the class, we will contact you and pro-rate  your fee for the following month.

Q. Is there a registration fee?

A. Yes. Our yearly registration fee is $45.00. This money is used to insure  your child for the year and provides your child with a LeapStar Kids t-shirt.

Q. When are payments due?

A. Payments are due at the first of the month, and late after the 5th. A $10 late fee will be added to your invoice after the 5th of the month. (For  families that prefer to pay in the middle of the month due to other  expenses, please contact us before the 5th of the month so that we can  make a note of that and waive the late fee).

Q. What if my payment is late?

A. If there is a late fee included, nothing will change for your child’s schedule.  However, if there is no late fee included, your child will continue classes,  but if he misses a class, there will be no make-up class given in exchange  for the missing late fee.

Q. If I have multiple children, do I get a discount?

A. LeapStar Kids does not do discounts for two children but considerations  will be made for three or more children in the program.

Q. Do you send a monthly bill?

A. LeapStar Kids bills through Paypal on 17Hats. You will receive a monthly  invoice to your email a week before payments are due. Payments are  expected at the first of each month.

Q. Does LeapStar Kids’ have a website?

A. LeapStar Kids’ website can be accessed through leapstarkids.net. This  website is marketed to preschools, entrepreneurs, parents, and gyms.  This program is also taught in several locations in the Alabama area.

Q. How does the LeapStar Kids website pertain to me as a parent of a child at a location that LeapStar Kids services?

A. This is a great way to bond with your child and stay fit, that too, at your  house. You may access all the content through the website and follow  along with what your child is learning with us. Additionally, you may use  this program to improve their skills at home!

Q. Do I have to purchase this program in order to be a part of the LeapStar Kids program at my child’s facility?

A. No, purchasing the program for personal use is optional for parents,  however, it is highly encouraged. Purchasing the program would allow you  as a parent to follow along with the lesson plans and it helps parents learn how to work with their child in terms of physical fitness.

Q. What is the cost of the program for parents and how can I purchase it?

A. This program can be purchased by parents by clicking the “Sign Up” button on our website at the price of $119.00 a year. If your child is  learning with us at one of the facilities we service and you decide to  purchase the program for personal use, please let us know so that we  may waive your $45.00 registration fee at the facility. We will also send  you our weekly lesson plans so you may see what your child is learning  with us!

Q. How do we know what our child is learning?

A. LeapStar Kids offers an option for parents to purchase the program for  their personal use. This way, parents can follow along with the skills their  children are learning with us. This additional purchase is not required but highly encouraged for parents who are interested in following along and  developing their children’s skills further at home. Additionally, we keep an  open-door policy at LeapStar Kids where you are welcome to call or text at  any time to hear about how your child is progressing.

Q. Will I receive videos of my child even after the free trial?

A. To be sure that we never take away from valuable class time, we do not  continue to take videos after the free trial.

Q. How often does my child attend LeapStar Kids classes?

A. LeapStar Kids works on a four-week schedule. Meaning, your child is  promised four classes a month for one-time a week go-er’s.

Q. What should my child wear?

A. Your child is welcome to wear anything for our classes. We will be rolling,  and doing lots of physical activity, so keep that in mind!

Q. Can I come watch my child’s class?

A. We ask that parents do not come to the classes. This is due to past  experiences with children getting upset when parent’s come to watch.
